Mission & Vision

OUR MISSION
This is a statement of why we exist. It is our reason for being. Our mission is founded on Christ Great Commission, given to His church just before His return to the Father. Specialized Ministries exists to encourage evangelism and to foster the process of discipleship in the lives of believers through all life stages so that they are continually being conformed to the image of Christ.

OUR VISION
This is a statement of faith which describes the conditions that would exist when we are fulfilling our mission.

All believers will be participating in evangelism, growing daily in their spiritual maturity, ministering in their call, and exercising their spiritual gifts.

OUR WORK
These are the broad objectives to which we are committed. The objectives drive our day-to-work, and give us guidelines for planning future ministry initiatives.

In order to fulfill our mission we will:

• Encourage all believers to be involved in some form of evangelism.
• Encourage the on-going process of personal discipleship in the lives of individual believers.
• Encourage the recognition of, response to, and faithful fulfillment of the call of God in the lives of individual believers.
• Encourage the identification and development of spiritual gifting in the lives of individual believers.
• Model evangelism, discipleship, divine calling, and spiritual gifting in our personal lives.
• Identify and make available resources related to evangelism, discipleship, calling, and spiritual gifting.
• Identify and make available appropriate curriculum for evangelism, discipleship, calling, and spiritual gifting.
• Support efforts to promote evangelism and discipleship ministries at the local and state/regional/national levels.
• Provide and/or support regional, national, and international events, appropriate to all age groups, which reinforce evangelism and discipleship.
• Support, and help train, leadership for evangelism and discipleship ministry at all levels.
