Usher Ministry

"Let all things be done decently and in order." --1 Cor.14:40

As a servant for Christ and His church we have been granted the honor of this position to minister in this capacity and recognize it as a privilege rather than a duty. For us, ushering is more than seating someone; it is a ministry that expresses God’s invitation to all to come unto Him. The Ushers of TPCG continually strive to grow in God’s word and fulfill our purpose as Ambassadors of God. Our goal is to help visitors feel at home, maintain order within God’s worship service as well as assist with the smooth operation within the worship service.

Ultimately, the objective of the usher’s service is to God, and as a result we open doors, greet members and visitors when they enter and leave the sanctuary, seat members and visitors, distribute programs, receive the offering and communicate Christian love.
